BILAN

For the fifth year in a row, crime is down in Geneva – spectacularly down (around 50% less): there have been fewer break-ins and a drop in robberies of pick-pocketing and grab-and-run type. This is not a miracle, it’s the result of hard work and unfailing determination on the part of everyone involved in public security. They deserve our thanks and encouragement in continuing their efforts, because we can and must do even better. Public safety is an on-going battle. I’ve been involved in it ceaselessly for the past five years.
