Introduction of a new naturalization process

After in-depth reform of the Cantonal Office for Population and Migration (the OCPM), I have announced that the time required for processing a naturalization application will be lessened from 38 months to 18 months. While this is not yet the case in all municipalities, because of the different procedures in different municipalities, we have already succeeded in considerably shortening the waiting times, while maintaining thorough individual case management.
