Public vote in favor of relocating the Les Vernets camp

The result of the vote means that we are going to relocate the existing Les Vernets facility outside Geneva City and, instead, build housing on the land thus freed up. More concretely, the scheme makes provision for the relocation of the Les Vernets establishment to sites at Epeisses, in Aire-la-Ville. The end result of the project will be not only the modernization of our security capability but also the construction of 1,500 homes.
