A further decrease in the crime rate in Geneva

As in 2016, police crime statistics showed a drop in the number of criminal offenses in Geneva. This means that, since 2011, there has been a decrease of nearly 37% in property-related crime. Additionally, there has also been a fall of 12% in life-threatening and violent crime. The police are continuing their efforts in the field, and are planning a number of investments to enable them to function even more effectively.
